At $250, the Q2 has to be more than explosive. The 114 SW is actually attractive for an elongated because it keeps the paddle from looking like a sledgehammer on paper. What I would really want to know is how nonlinear the power feels after break-in, how much the surface changes, and whether the premium over the $100 foam paddles still feels obvious after a month.
