The EX is the Shapeshifter shape I would look at first if I wanted more reach without giving up the same 18K surface concept. A 118 SW is not especially light, so for me the question would be whether the soft/dwell-oriented construction actually makes that mass worth carrying in doubles. The surface durability also needs real hours before I call it anything beyond an interesting material choice.
