What happens when you take the powerhouse DNA of the unMARKed Alpha (now MARK TwoR2) and give it a sleeker frame, longer handle, and faster hands?
Boom. The MARK OneXR2 is born.

Same beastly 16mm thermoformed core with 10mm cell size brings satisfying Gen 2 pop, raw ball feedback, and insane grit is now in a hybrid shape with better maneuverability (thanks to the aero curve at the top) and a longer 5.75" handle for that two-hander you've been practicing in the mirror. Imagine the same plush yet powerful thump from the unMARKed Alpha... but now with faster reloads, cleaner counters, and a more wrist-friendly whip.

Initial Thoughts

The MARK OneXR2 brings that old-school Gen 2 soul with a modern edge. The grit is wild, legit sandpaper-level tack that grabs the ball like a vice. Topspin drives a leap off the face, and slices cut low and skid hard. You still get that satisfying “thwack” sound, not the damp, muted “thup” of many Gen 3/4 paddles. The magic comes from its 10mm honeycomb cell structure inside a 16mm thermoformed core, a combo that delivers deep dwell time with explosive rebound. It feels plush on resets, but when you swing out, the paddle unleashes real power. It’s fast, forgiving, and feels alive, perfect for players who want hybrid hand speed without sacrificing spin or force. The sweet spot is big, the control is confident, and you feel every shot compress and snap off with purpose.

More thoughts coming soon after a few more sessions on the court.

This paddle isn’t trying to be the next futuristic experiment. It’s a refined, battle-tested beast for players who love sound, feel, pop, and spin of Gen 2 thermoformed, not just marketing acronyms.

It’s not Gen 3. It’s not Gen 4.
It’s real Gen 2 thermoformed energy.
And it's ready to throw hands.
