When 11six24 launched the Hurache-X Alpha 1 last season, its 10 mm “black-cell” core won over players who wanted plush dwell time without giving up power. The new Alpha Pro Power keeps that exact 10 mm core geometry but wraps it in the brand’s third-generation floating EVA-foam frame and finishes it with the FCC face lay-up borrowed from the All-Court line. Think of it as the Alpha 1’s feel, the Power series’ pop, and the All-Court’s dwell, rolled into one stick. Another piece of good news is that 11Six24 is launching this series in three distinct shapes: Hurache-X (Elongated), Vapor (Hybrid), and Pegasus (Standard Widebody).

I love that 11six24 kept the great core but essentially dialed up the playability. The higher thickness and foam mean the paddle is more powerful but not twitchy; you get consistent, controllable pop when you want it, without random hot spots. The carbon + fiberglass face gives “elite spin” potential on every swing, so I know I can rip a heavy topspin or a sneaky slice, and the ball will bite the paddle predictably. Despite the extra foam, the weight is still about 8.0–8.2 oz, and the balance feels natural, so I didn’t have to adjust my swing at all. I have already played with the Hurache-X Alpha Pro Power for 10 hours now, and I immediately noticed the difference in serves and overheads, where the ball jumps off the face, yet I never felt out of control. The new foam edges save so many shots, I can almost feel the ball sticking a bit longer on the face, giving me more accuracy even on off-center hits.

The Hurache-X Alpha Pro Power slots straight into my bag and becomes my main. It plays like the Alpha 1’s more athletic big brother; faster, stronger, yet unmistakably from the same family. It shifts from all-court to true power only when you accelerate, avoiding the “too hot” reputation of some Gen-3 paddles.

Here’s a quick comparison of the old Alpha 1 vs. the new Alpha Pro Power series:

Feature Hurache-X Alpha 1 (Old) Hurache Alpha Pro Power (New)
Core 10 mm Black Polymer (Black Cell) 10 mm Black Polymer (Black Cell)
Edge Tech Standard surround (no foam ring) Gen 3 floating EVA foam surround
Face Material CFC (Carbon‑Fiberglass‑Carbon) FCC (Fiberglass‑Carbon‑Carbon) – softer triple layer
Thickness 16 mm 16 mm
Feel Soft with high dwell time (more control‑focused) Balanced soft feel with power (more power‑ready & forgiving)
Swing Weight (Hurache‑X) ~116–118 ~115
Price ~$149.99 (launch) ~$199.99 (each shape)
Release 2024 (Alpha 1) Launching in July 2025 (Alpha Pro Power)

Compared to the Hurache‑X Power, the Hurache-X Alpha Pro Power is night-and-day plusher. I could rip hard without my wrist tingling, and even delicate net dinks were buttery soft. The sweet spot on this elongated head feels larger than I expected, and the feedback is sharp; I always know exactly where I hit it. For a power-oriented player like me, it checks all the boxes: raw punch from the baseline, plus surprising touch at the net, all without that jittery feel some stiff paddles have. I’m loving how much control I still have; it’s raw power that I can dial in, and that feels awesome. I only have court time with the Hurache-X Alpha Pro Power so far, but the upgrade over my Hurache-X Power was instant:

  • Plusher feel – the ball sinks in noticeably longer; blocks don’t jar my arm the way the stiffer CFC face sometimes did.
  • Larger sweet spot than Power series – thanks to bigger cells plus foam perimeter.
  • Same swing, bigger payoff – drives that used to top out at “heavy all-court” power now reach true “pro power” when I lean on them.
  • Effortless resets – the 10 mm core + FCC face grabs the ball, so mid-court resets land shorter with less wrist carve.
  • No break-in panic – Gen-3 floating cores can feel hollow the first few games, but this stick felt dialed right out of the plastic.
  • No lead-tape required – stock weights already balance stability and maneuverability.

On the whole, the new Alpha Pro Power series nails the brief: huge sweet spots, controlled power, and great spin all packed in a versatile platform. Even though these paddles are more powerful, they never feel like “too much”; I always felt in charge of the ball. The Gen 3 foam and soft FCC face make this whole series feel more approachable than the old power paddles, without sacrificing any of that punch. All in all, I’m absolutely loving the new Hurache-X Alpha Pro Power. It keeps the best bits of the Alpha 1 (that great core and crisp feedback) but adds so much comfort and versatility. Hitting with the Hurache‑X Alpha Pro Power left me grinning, it’s not every day a paddle instantly feels better than its predecessor. If you’re looking for a high-performance paddle that lives up to its hype, these are it. I’ll be recommending them to all my pickleball buddies: incredible sweet spot, smooth power under control, and spin-friendly carbon; what more could you ask for? The future of 11six24’s paddles looks very bright, and I can’t wait to see how the Vapor and Pegasus roll out on the court next.

Should you upgrade?

Alpha 1 owners: If you crave a touch more free power but don’t want to lose that signature plush dwell, the Pro Power answers the call. The Alpha 1 is currently available for purchase at $149.99; however, it's important to note that it is not part of 11six24's standard lineup and is produced in limited batches. There is an indication that it may be discontinued in the future.
Power-series users: You’ll keep almost identical swing metrics but gain a softer impact feel and extra dwell, worth a demo if you found the CFC face too crisp.
First-time 11six24 shoppers: Pick the shape that fits your swing length, and you’ll get a Gen-3 performer at ~$200. still undercutting many top-tier offerings.

They are announced for release in July 2025. Hurache-X Alpha Pro Power, along with Vapor and Pegasus, is priced at about $199.99, which is $50 above the old Alpha 1 and $30 over the Power Series; a small premium for all the new tech. Honestly, that’s still a steal given what you get.

Updated Specifications:

I used the Briffidi machine and simulations to obtain the SW and TW values (based on weights ranging from 7.9 oz to 8.1 oz) presented in the boxplots for the 11SIX24 Alpha Pro Power Series: Hurache-X APP, Vapor APP, and Pegasus APP. These plots highlight how this lineup delivers a uniquely balanced experience of power, plush feel, and control, even at a consistent weight. The new Alpha Pro Power comes in at a lighter weight for increased customization, so you can expect the weights of the new series to be around 8 oz. Despite this, the Alpha Pro Power paddles have lower swing weights, thanks to a more efficient design and updated materials, making them easier to maneuver while maintaining nearly identical power output. For example, the elongated Hurache-X APP swings at just 114 SW, compared to the heavier-feeling 117.8 SW of the Hurache-X Power. The Vapor APP swings at 110, quicker and more balanced than the Power’s 112.3 SW, and the Pegasus APP, at 106 SW, is the lightest-swinging of all, compared to 110.4 SW for the Pegasus Power.

This lighter swing weight means that when both series are at the same static weight, it translates to improved hand speed, better control in fast exchanges, and more customization potential. Players can add lead tape to tailor power and stability to their liking without fear of overshooting a comfortable swing weight. Meanwhile, the plush FCC face and full EVA foam perimeter of the Alpha Pro Power series deliver a softer touch, increased dwell time, and elite spin generation, while preserving the punch and pop of the original Power Series.

Ultimately, the Alpha Pro Power series gives players the best of all worlds: the buttery feel of the Alpha 1’s 10mm black-cell core, the controllable power of the Power Series, and a lighter, more customizable platform that can adapt to any style, whether you prefer the reach and plow-through of the Hurache-X, the hybrid versatility of the Vapor, or the widebody forgiveness of the Pegasus.
